I picked this up at Total Wine and it was admittedly a “splurge.”  I used a glug of it in my Beurre Blanc and drank the rest with my broiled miso marinated black cod.  The wine was sooooo good, and my thoughts prior to looking up the reviews were that it was not overly acidic, but it had a nice apple-y toasty bright taste. It was awfully easy to drink and had a good mouth feel before and during dinner. Okay and then I look at the reviews and this is what I found in Wine Enthusiast: This softly textured wine has the potential for great richness. Toast from wood aging is still present although apple and citrus flavors come through as well. Reticent now, this wine will age well into a densely textured, ripe wine. Drink from 2021. (Review by Roger Voss).  I am not the only one who likes this wine!
